David made this known on Friday, December 31, 2021, via a social media post shared on his Instagram Stories.

The singer wrote, “Made $22.3 million this year. “Talk to shit.”

Davido is one of the highest-earning celebrities in the country.

In December, he secured a major endorsement deal with sports company Puma.

Though the exact figures of the deal were not declared, reports revealed that the singer’s endorsement ran into millions of dollars.

However, controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has asked Davido, to reveal how much he gave out to charity.

Prior to his birthday on November 21, last year, Davido had asked his friends to give him at least N1 million as a birthday gift.

His friends and fans came out en mass and donated as much as N200 million within 48 hours.

The singer released a statement that he would be gifting the money to charity. He added N50 million from his own money and pledged to set  a five-man committee to disburse the money.

In a video posted on his Instagram page Thursday evening, Uche said Davido is yet to disclose the charities that benefitted from the donation.

”Oh my God! You are coming out to tell us how much you made in a year. We are happy for you. Glory to God! But why can’t you tell us how much you gave to charity homes in Nigeria?

”You came out and said that on the 18th and 19th you would do disbursement. You said you would do a press release on the 20th or the 21st but we did not see press release. We want to know how much you give the charities. Name them!” he added.
