Three pupils in Ozubulu/Nnewi, Anambra state are rumoured to have died during free army medical services, leading to indigenes and students of the area scampering for their life.

It was reported that some people in military uniform arrived a school in the area and started forcing them to take injection which led to the death of three pupils from yet-to-be identified school.

As at 10 a.m. Wednesday, parents were seen hurriedly zooming to schools and taking their respective wards home.

Meanwhile, primary and secondary schools in the area are currently under lock.

In a similar vein, panic and pandemonium ensued in Enugu State forcing parents to withdraw their children from schools, midday Wednesday, as rumours made the rounds that school children were dying from free military medical exercise.

The Permanent Secretary in the state ministry of Health, Mr. Sylvester Ugwuagbo, however, told Vanguard that there was no on-going immunization of school children in the state.

But, the Army Public Relations officer in 82 Division Enugu, Col. Sagir Musa refuted that there was no such exercise.

However, rumours circulated in the state that some school children had died at both some township and rural school as a result of that which they alleged was being executed by the army in the on-going Operation Python dance II.

At Ekulu Primary School in old GRA, Enugu, police were stationed in front of the school to maintain peace among the surging parents.
