President Donald Trump, Friday, ordered FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Brett Kavanaugh, nominee for US Supreme Court, over the s3xual abuse allegations.
His statement: “I’ve ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaugh’s file. As the Senate has requested, this update must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week.”
Judge Kavanaugh is at the centre of multiple allegations of s3xual misconduct.
Christine Blasey, Deborah Ramirez and Julie Swetnick have publicly accused Kavanaugh of s3xual misconduct in high school and college, and another anonymous allegation has surfaced.
Kavanaugh has categorically denied the allegations and is testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday.
Kavanaugh on Thursday testified before Senate Judiciary Committee and audaciously denied the allegations on sexual abuses levelled against him.
Trump tweeted “Judge Kavanaugh showed America exactly why I nominated him. His testimony was powerful, honest, and riveting. Democrats’ search and destroy strategy is disgraceful and this process has been a total sham and effort to delay, obstruct, and resist. The Senate must vote!”
