Some Nigerians have reacted to the tweets by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Nigeria’s former President, who wrote “I have noticed the desperation of the ‘lifeless one’ to identify with anyone that has ‘Obasanjo’ in their names, even after they said I am no longer relevant.”

Obasanjo, who in his Twitter handle on Friday, appeared to have made veiled reference to President Muhammadu Buahri as lifeless one, further tweeted “I won’t be surprised if they take pictures with my ancestors, since this govt. is known for identifying with dead people.”

Recall that some months ago President Donald Trump was quoted to have described President Muhammadu Buhari as a lifeless president after a meeting with in United States of America.

Replying, Comrade Shedrack Fubara wrote “In 2014 when you endorsed them, they hailed you. Also @atiku supported them, gave his private jet to the lifeless one, they hailed him. Today Nigerians & all men of honour have rebuked & rejected @MBuhari they are scrambling & calling ppl all sorts of names.Failure has no friend.”

Another Nigerian, Obisanya Tunde Adeni wrote “Nigeria is for all not for only Obj and co#saibuhari.”

Engr. Mustapha, a follower of Obasanjo, tweeted “This is your son you are referring to like this in PUBLIC. What a silly old man you are!”

Also, Ozzy wrote “And u pple think OBJ truly wants Atiku? Hav u guys taken ur time to dissect the content of his comments at the Otta meeting? He supports Atiku yet Oby’s so-called attacks on “Butiku” indicts Atiku so much more. 2019 will shock u all, & teach u some grand lessons in politics.”

Not left out, Anselem Obasi tweeted “There is one thing that will never fail to happen, there must be a president after all this attack up and down, but in all obj never stops to d amuse me.”

Iva @ginia stated “PARODY ACCOUNT! The real OBJ hasn’t spoken yet.’’

Ocholi Ausa wrote “To think that people are really falling for this handle is just amusing. It gives you an idea of the ratio of the informed against the uninformed.”

Kolapo Kabir Oduola queried “Does it seriously matter? Anything that shut the APC and Buhari’s mouth is a welcome development to me.”

Waziri Aliyu tweeted “Let him deny his blood because Buhari has locked the treasury for people like him to continue feasting on.”
