The girl, Faith Galadima who delivered in Injita village in Munya Local Government Area of the State two weeks ago, was impregnated by Mohammed Mohammed.

Galadima narrated her ordeal during pregnancy “I did not receive any assistance from the Vice Principal despite the agreement between him and the Child Rights Agency.

“I am not happy that I am now a mother at this tender age, but I will not allow the development to dampen my moral because my dream is to become a nurse.

She, however, called on the government to assist her realize her dreams by assisting her to take care of the child.

Confirming the story, Mr. Haruna Galadima, her father, said the daughter was abandoned during her pregnancy, and called on the government to step into the matter.

Mrs. Maryam Kolo, the Director-General of the Niger state Child Rights Protection Agency, said part of the Agency’s demands to the state Ministry of Education was to give part of the accused salary to the victim’s monthly upkeep.

She gave assurance that the agency would get justice for the victim and see that she returned to school.
