More than seven persons Tuesday night were reportedly killed while others were injured at Lekki Tollgate in Lagos during the #EndSARS protest.

Before the shootings, a traffic worker was seen in a video disconnecting the security cameras at the tollgate.

Media personality, Kiki Mordi, who shared the report on Twitter, alleged that the protesters who are currently helping victims who were shot at, were trapped and if they move, they will also be shot at.

Mordi confirmed that seven persons were allegedly killed after after security agents fired gunshots to disperse the protesters at Lekki tollgate.

According to him, the protesters were surrounded by armed security agents in Lekki after gunshots were fired at the tollgate on Tuesday night, October 20.

An eyewitness told Channel reporter that as soon as the street lights went off, some suspected soldiers appeared and started shooting at them.

Meanwhile, US has shot down its Embassy in Lagos over the violent but bloody demonstrations, warning its citizens to be cautious in moving during this period in the city.
