Akwa Ibom State and 12 other states in Nigeria recorded more new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has stated.
Of the 84 new cases recorded on Saturday, April 10, Akwa Ibom recorded 16 new cases, bringing the overall number to 1,810 cases and 14 deaths while 1,706 persons have been discharged, according to NCDC
While Lagos State topped the NCDC’s log with 26, the remaining 12 states were with figures: Rivers (10), Ebonyi (9), Abia (6), Kano (6), Osun (3), Bauchi (2), Delta (2), Edo (1), Jigawa (1), Kaduna (1), and Ogun (1).
