    Anietie Usen heads MPM and Pastor Umo Eno Campaign Media team

    A multiple award-winning journalist and author, Mr. Anietie Usen is the Head, National Media of the National Executive Committee of Maintain Peace Movement and Pastor Umo Eno Campaign Organisation.

    A one-time Akwa Ibom Commissioner for Information and Culture, Prince Chris Abasieyo is the Campaign spokesperson while ex-Chairman of Uruan Local Government Area, Hon. Anthony Akan is appointed as the Deputy Director, Political Support Group.

    A press release dated February 15 and signed by Prince Enobong Uwah, Secretary-General of Maintain Peace Movement says the appointments take immediate effect.

    The release, therefore, congratulated the appointees.

    MPM is the campaign team of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Akwa Ibom to work for the emergence of Pastor Eno as Akwa Ibom Governor and other party’s candidates in the 2023 general elections.

    Usen is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, Oxford Business School, Manchester Business School, Wisconsin Business School, Lagos Business School, Pennsylvania Business School (Wharton Aresty Institute of Executive Education), and the University of Calabar.

    A pioneer reporter at the phenomenal Newswatch Magazine, where he rose rapidly to become the general editor, Anietie was also the Senior Political Analyst/Editorial Board Member of Thisday Newspaper as well as the Regional Editor in-charge of West Africa for the London-based Pan-African magazine, Africa Today.

    He was the General Manager/CEO of Akwa Ibom Newspaper Corporation and founding Head of Corporate Communications in the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

    He is a Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM), Fellow, Association of Corporate Governance Professionals of Nigeria (FACGP); Fellow of Thompson Journalism Foundation, United Kingdom (FTJF); Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (MNIPR); Member of the Nigeria Guild of Editors (MNGE); Member of the European Market Research Centre (MEMRC) and  currently a Media and Management Consultant.
