    NPFL Wrap: MFM FC relegated as Dakkada FC Battle for survival

    Mountain of Fire and Miracles Football Club are the first team to be relegated from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) following Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Niger Tornadoes.

    The Olukoya Boys have 34 points from 36 matches remaining two to go in the 2021/2022 soccer season.

    Meanwhile. Dakkada FC are battling to survive relegation with 43 points from 36 matches played so far remaining two.

    Sitting atop MFM on the relegation zone, Dakkada are battling to override Heartland of Owerri and Shooting Stars of Ibadan brimming with 45 points each.

    Hope of the club surviving relegation depends on the agility of their players to win the two remaining matches to fight out from the current 19th position.

    However, Akwa United FC occupy the 8th position with 51 points from 36 matches played so far remaining two.

    Theses are the two teams from Akwa Ibom gliding the premier NPFL contour.
