    Basketmouth’s ‘new bride’ emerges after divorcing his wife

    New ‘bride’ of Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth have surfaced online after  divorcing his first wife, Straightnews reports.
    In the splashing photos, Basketmouth, a popular Nigerian comedian wearing designer’s suit, is seen cuddling Stella Yakpotuba, his new bride, wearing what is akin to white wedding gown.
    This came few hours after Basketmouth announced an end of a 12-year-old marriage to his wife, Elsie Okpocha via his social media handle on Thursday.

    Basketmouth’s announcement came after he had celebrated Elsie’s 44th birthday anniversary in September, though he did not celebrate their annual wedding anniversary which usually comes up in November.

    Announcing the dissolution of his 12 years’ marriage to his ex-wife, Basketmouth wrote: “As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation.
    ‘‘After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.
    ‘‘As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need.
    “We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times. Thank you,” he said.

    The 44-year-old Basketmouth hails from Lagos and is survived by two children.
