As part of its community service, the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM),  FESTAC mega axis has awarded scholarships to 48 students and offered food items to the poor.

The church has also repaired public roads and provided free medical support, including free medications and diagnosis.

The Regional Overseer (MRO) FESTAC Mega Axis, Pastor Irabor Enojiasun, who announced this during the men’s deliverance and economic empowerment conference in Lagos, said 13 indigent  children of widows,  the needy  and the vulnerable as well as 35 children of ministers and workers in  the church benefitted  from the scholarships.

Enojiasun said MFM FESTAC Mega Axis is towing the path of the General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, who is burdened about community development.

On the community road repair Initiative by the Church, Enojiasun said the gesture was part of Olukoya’s Explosive Evangelism Initiative (EEI) borne out of community service.

According to him, “Repair of roads by MFM FESTAC Mega Regional Headquarter is in response to the deteriorating condition of public roads in our area, particularly 71 Road Junction, opposite Mosque, and by the plaza behind Energies Filling Station, along 7th Avenue Road, FESTAC.

“We launched the road repair initiative to improve the safety and accessibility of our community’s infrastructure, and demonstrate the church’s commitment to community service and outreach.

“Materials used by the church are 4 units of 5 tons tipper, one unit of 15 tons tipper 3 units of 30 tons tipper. The Residents of D Close, 7th Avenue, FESTAC, in a bid to support the church donated 2 units of 30 tons and 2 units of 20 tons tipper.”

The Chairman of 7th Avenue Otunba Akin and the vice chairman commended the church for the constant laudable intervention.

On the Mega African Praise Programme, the Mega Regional Overseer,  Enojiasun said there is need to thank God for  life regardless of what individuals and the country are passing through.

He said the special thanksgiving service programme brought healing to souls amid depressing challenges bedevilling individuals and the country at large.
