South Africa ‘Retaliates’ US, Halts American businesses and mineral exports

The South African government retaliated by suspending American businesses within its territory and halted mineral exports to the United States.

This drastic measure comes on the heels of Donald Trump’s signing an Executive Order to cut off all funding from the US to South Africa, including USAID.

The South African government has made it clear that it will no longer tolerate the disrespect and disregard shown by the Western world.

“Africa is not a beggar continent,” said a spokesperson for the South African government. “We will no longer be taken for granted. If the US thinks it can just cut off funding and expect us to come crawling back, they are sadly mistaken.”

The move is expected to have significant economic implications for both countries. The US makes over $25 billion in profits from South Africa annually, and the suspension of American businesses and mineral exports will undoubtedly hit the US economy hard.

However, South Africa is also expected to feel the pinch. The country relies heavily on exports to the US, and the loss of this market will likely lead to job losses and economic instability.

Despite this, the South African government remains resolute. “We are willing to take a stand and assert our sovereignty,” said the spokesperson. “We will no longer be bullied or intimidated by the US.”

The move has been hailed as a bold and courageous step by many Africans, who see it as a long-overdue assertion of African sovereignty and independence.

As the situation continues to unfold, one thing is clear: South Africa has drawn a line in the sand, and the US will be forced to re-evaluate its relationship with the continent.
