    Akwa Ibom Govt, Media Guru Consultant Seal Pact for ultra-modern AKBC studio

    Akwa Ibom Government and Media Guru Consultant, LLC, Dubai have sealed a deal for the provision of consultancy, design, procurement, and installation of broadcast equipment for Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation (AKBC).

    The agreement aligns with Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno administration’s determination to upgrade the information machinery of the State Government.

    Governor Eno, represented by Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, sealed a deal with the Media Guru Consultant, LLC, Dubai, to transform the State-owned broadcasting Corporation, AKBC, to a world-class broadcasting station.

    “I want to welcome everyone to the signing ceremony of the agreement between Akwa Ibom State Government and Media Guru Consultant, LLC, for the provision of consultancy, design, procurement, and installation of broadcast equipment for AKBC,” Eno stated.

    The Governor noted that the agreement which covers provision of consultancy, design, procurement and installation of broadcast equipment, is in fulfillment of the campaign promise as made by the Governor.

    “I want to welcome everyone to the signing ceremony of the agreement between Akwa Ibom State Government and Media Guru Consultant, LLC, for the provision of consultancy, design, procurement, and installation of broadcast equipment for AKBC”, he stated.

    According to him, the official signing of the agreement will place AKBC on a pedestal to compete favourably in quality broadcasting services delivery with other stations of international repute in Nigeria and beyond.

    The Governor expressed optimism that AKBC will vigorously project the people and the State to the world on completion of the project.

    Earlier, the Director General of AKBC, Imaobong Udoh, had commended Governor Umo Eno for keeping to his promise to change the narrative of the broadcast station for the better.

    She expressed the happiness of the management and staff of the broadcast organization to witness the beginning of the transformation of station to take its rightful place in the broadcasting world.

    The DG assured that with the upgrade of the broadcast station set in motion by the State Government, Akwa Ibom people in particular and Nigerians in general will witness the best in broadcasting.

    The event which took place at Government House Uyo was witness by the Commissioner for Information, Hon. Aniekan Umanah, Government officials, and staffers of AKBC.
