The draw ceremony, which took place at Rennes Opera House, pitched host France against another African representative, Ghana, New Zealand and Netherlands in group A.
2016 champions, South Korea will face England, Mexico and Brazil in group B while group C has the United States of America, Japan Paraguay and Spain.
The draw was conducted by FIFA’s Chief Women Football Officer, Sarai Bareman, who was in the company of FIFA Senior Competitions Manager, Rhiannon Martin.
They were assisted by former France international, Camille Abily and FIFA legend,Mikael Silvestre.
FIFA U-20 women’s World Cup will be held in four cities, Vannes, Concarneau, Saint-Malo and Dina/Lehon from August 5 – 24, 2018.
