    Five English clubs joined three in qualifying for the Round 16 of the 2025/2026 Champions League knockout.

    Liverpool, Manchester, Chelsea and Tottenham secured a top-eight finish in the league phase Wednesday along with Barcelona and Sporting Lisbon.

    They join Arsenal and Bayern Munich, who had already secured direct passage to the last 16 before the final round of games.
