About 90 per cent of women are said not to be making headway in their career after marriage, Nkpouto Pius, an Harvard scholar quoted a man.

Pius, the Harvard scholar did not mention the name of the man who asserted that 90 per cent of women do not make headway in their career, after marriage.

Writing this on her Facebook timeline, she penned ‘‘Na man talk this one oh. When I tell you people I don’t want to ever be married, I know exactly what I am saying.

‘‘Marriage does not benefit women. 90% of the female friends I knew growing up who got married, I don’t see any headway with their career these days.’’

The Cross River scholar further reported that ‘‘There’s a negative correlation between marriage and women’s career fulfilment in Africa.

‘‘So no thanks, I’ll skip the marriage part quite gladly.’’

Moreover, Ambrose Onwuegbuzie, another Facebook writer, on his page gave examples of failed marriages due to some irreconcilable differences.

He cited ‘‘Anita Okoye  got divorced , did not break down or did one video dragging Rudeboy  her ex husband

‘‘She did not appear in any podcast talking about her crashed marriage.

‘‘Rather, she moved to the US where recently bagged another Master degree certificate

‘‘She has not looked back after her divorce.’’

Onwuegbuzie noted, ‘‘May Edochie was a dark horse until Yul Edochie got Judy Austin pregnant and moved out of their family house.

‘‘Suddenly, the crisis became the turning point in May’s life.

‘‘She reinvented herself and her career and became a powerful item on social media.

Her social media presence grew even as her business also grew.

May have never said a word about her marriage or about Yul.

May have never appeared on any Podcast to blame anyone.

Her focus has been her children and her business.

According to him, ‘‘How about the dancing queen Kora Obidi?

‘‘Korra’s fame and fortune have grown in leaps and bounds.

She has not slowed down one bit since after her divorce.

In fact, she has become better

    How about Mabel Mayokun?

”Mabel is so focused on her business and her career.

She has no time talking about her crashed marriage.

Now, i have used these women as an example.

”Why do women begin to look better and more successful after they walk out of their marriages?”
