Akpabio Vs Ekpenyong: It Is Not Over Yet, Warns Prophet

A Nigerian renowned seer has told the Peoples Domocratic Party’s (PDP) Senator-elect for Akwa Ibom State North West Senatorial District, Mr Chris Ekpenyong not to rejoice too soon as the final outcome of the cases in tribunal may be shocking.

Already, the matter is ongoing in the National Election Petitions Tribunal

The founder of Christ Deliverance Ministries Inc. (CDM), Lagos, Prophet Ekong Ituen, who while chatting with newsmen in Lagos, cautioned Ekpenyong who defeated former Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just- concluded elections, to continue in prayers and not get carried away by the sentiments of praise singers.

Describing Akpabio as a friend of the poor, who has touched many lives, Ituen regretted that “the people he helped are those fighting him today. You may not like him, but the truth must be told.”

    Prophet Ituen

The Prophet, who predicted many national events with accuracy, had foretold victory for President Muhammadu Buhari, Babagana Zulum of Borno State, David Umahi of Ebonyi State, Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Ben Ayade of Cross River State, Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, which all came to pass.

However, the clergy man got it wrong when he predicted that the APC governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom State, Mr Nsima Ekere, who lost to PDP’s Governor Udom Emmanuel, would win the election.

Ituen argued that he had asked Ekere to seek the face of God before resigning as the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

It is not known if Ekere had heeded the advice before he was defeated by Governor Udom Emmanuel on March 9 governorship election.
