As 2019 general elections in the country close in, politicians are re-strategising and engaging in serious horse trading to grab power from their perceived opponents.

Dele Momodu, veteran journalist cum media mogul, shared on his Twitter page this evening, Wednesday as he wrote that: All Progressives Congress defectors meeting with the Senate President and Peoples Democratic Party National Chairman and Chieftains in Ilorin right now…

Recall that two weeks ago, a new faction in the All Progressive Congress (APC) emerged, formed by aggrieved members of the newPeoples Democratic Party known as the Reformed-All Progressives Congress (R-APC), Senate President Bukola Saraki, House Speaker Yakubu Dogara,.

In a recent press conference at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja, the new group named Alhaji Buba Galadima as its National Chairman, Dr. Fatai Atanda (Oyo State) as National Secretary and Kazeem Afegbua (Edo State) as National Publicity Secretary.

The group stated through its chairman that the R-APC was a fallout of the APC congress, which he described as null and void due to the violations of the party’s constitution.

He also said Senate President Bukola Saraki and House Speaker Yakubu Dogara are key members of the R-APC.

Galadima declared that the RAPC would ensure that the real change promised the people would be made a reality come 2019, he also described the change in the APC has “Fake change”
