The Federal Government has described as encouraging the recent global endorsement of Nigeria for a second time in the fight against terrorism as contained in the 2017 Global Terrorism Index of the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP). Two suspected thieves were beaten to death weekend in Isheri Oshun area of Lagos by an angry mob who descended on them. The thieves were said to have allegedly snatched a motorcycle from one Soliu Azeez of 4 Rubutu Street in Kudeibu Estate at about 9.30 p.m and the mob reportedly chased, caught and beat them to death. More than 108 million Nigerians despite huge technological, scientific and industrial advances in the country are believed to be lacking access to proper toilet facilities, the United Nations has stated. Currently, 67 percent are said to have no decent toilet, 33 percent lack clean water and 26 percent practise open defecation. Four persons in Imo State were feared to have died after drinking locally brewed gin- ogogoro. The victims were Chibuzor Nwosu, Ifeanyi Nkwocha, Ada Danganer and Friday Osuji. World Health Organisation (WHO), one of the frontline agencies of the United Nations, has launched a fresh global campaign to make the tuberculosis scourge history. A total of 75 ministers on Friday agreed to take urgent action to end tuberculosis by 2030.
