The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Monday, accused Department of State Service of shielding its officials implicated in the $2.1 billion arms scandal from probe. Four female suicide bombers were Monday killed when they tried to sneak into Maiduguri metropolis, Borno state Police command has said. Victor Isuku, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, who confirmed the incident, said the incident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. in Tomsu Ngamdu community on the outskirts of Maiduguri.
