The Akwa Ibom State High Court, Abak Judicial Division has sent a Police Woman, Mrs. Juliet Attah to a three- month imprisonment at Ikot Ekpene Custodial Centre of the Nigeria Correctional Service, without option of fine. Nigerian Senate and House of Representatives Thursday endorsed State of Emergency imposed on Rivers State by President Bola Tinubu. The Senate’s approval grants President Tinubu the authority to enforce emergency measures while mandating a review of the situation at any time, but no later than six months.
