The Minister of Finance, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, has called for more women inclusion in the nation’s extractive industry. The Nigerian Army has regretted that political thugs were being viewed and addressed as real soldiers in the media, saying the development had brought its reputation on several occasions to disrepute. Suspected armed bandits weekend killed 16 people and injured 18 others at Dumama community in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, the lawmaker representing Zurmi/Shinkafi in the House of Representatives, Husseini Moroki, has confirmed. A total of 157 people on board an Ethiopian Airlines plane that crashed on Sunday morning en route to Nairobi from Addis Ababa perished, the airline said. The victims were Kenyans, 18 Canadians, nine Ethiopians, eight Chinese, eight Americans, and seven British citizens were among the dead, according to the airline. The MTN group says it will be listed on the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE) before the first half of 2019. The telecommunication giant said this in a mailed statement which shows positive trade numbers in 2018 fiscal year.
