As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the 2 Brigade Nigerian Army on Thursday offered free medical outreach to over 2000 Akwa Ibom indigenes in Ukanafun Local Government Area of the state. The National Identity Management Commission, NIMC, Thursday, said that the country has enrolled 34 million Nigerians and legal residents into the National Identity Database and issued them the National Identification Number, NIN. The commission also said it needed N134.23 billion ($433million) to reduce the backlog of people without National Identity within the next three years. Director-General of NIMC, Engr. Oil prices rose for a third day Thursday pushed up by lower imports into the United States amid OPEC efforts to tighten the market as well as Venezuela struggles to keep up its crude exports after Washington imposed sanctions on the nation, with the Brent crude settling at $62.01.
