The Nigerian Federal Government has assured that the contractors handling the dualization of the Calabar-Itu Highway will soon return to site to resume work on the road. After being on the death row for 12 years, Akawu Bala, a sergeant in the Nigerian Army has been discharged and acquitted by Nigeria’s Supreme Court.
