Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) wants the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, to pursue constitutional and legal reforms that would recognize Nigerians’ right to vote securely in free, fair and honest elections as a fundamental right. A young man from Udianga Enem village in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, has lost his life while he was trying to steal electric cables belonging to the community. Straightnews gathered that the suspected cable thief, one Ulim Amos Udo and the electric pole fell to the ground, killing him in the process.
