To avoid being dragged into controversy, a Spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress, APC, Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, dodged that he never instituted legal action against the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu as Lagos State governor. Rather, Keyamo admitted dragging the Lagos State House of Assembly to court to seek an interpretation of the law over an alleged certificate forgery case. Akwa Ibom and 19 Nigerian States are at risk of possible flooding due to excess rainfall, Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has alerted. States prone to high-risk flooding in September include Kebbi and Jigawa in the Northwest, Borno, Bauchi and Taraba in the Northeast, Plateau in north central and Bayelsa in the South-South.
