The Rivers State High Court in Port Harcourt has freed 12 suspects accused of killing a policewoman, Inspector Christiana Erekere. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has ordered an immediate investigation of a viral video on social media sowing some of its officers clashing with a driver along Abudu, Edo State. The video, circulating on X and cited by PUNCH Online on Sunday, shows a driver whipping uniformed FRSC personnel during what appears to be a routine traffic stop. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission  (EFCC), Uyo Zonal Directorate, is set to charge a school owner, Mrs. Imaobong Cyril Okpong in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State to court for her alleged involvement in a series of visa fraud schemes and fake offers of foreign scholarships for non-existent studies abroad.
