A total of 31 states and 148 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Nigeria are prone to flooding during this year’s rainy season, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has alerted. Gunmen have abducted a retired secondary school Principal-General, Akparawa Ezekiel Paul in Ikot Abasi Akpan, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, demanding N20 million ransom.
