To ease tension in the political class, Akwa Ibom government on Tuesday announced October 26 for the election of Chairmen and councillors into the 31 local government areas of the state. The Federal Government has instituted a legal action against the governors of the 36 states of the federation at the Supreme Court over alleged misconduct in the administration of local government councils.
