Six persons have lost their lives in a road accident along Mbiabong Road, near Itu-Calabar Road in Akwa Ibom State. The victims include three males, one female and two children. The accident involved a tricycle with registration DUU407WZ and a DYNA truck without visible plates. The truck driver fled before FRSC officials arrived at the scene. President Bola Tinubu administration’s request to borrow $24 billion sent to National Assembly for approval has received several knocks from different quarters.  One of the knocks came from the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) asking the National Assembly to turn down the request with a warning that the move would significantly deepen Nigeria’s debt crisis.
