The Court of Appeal in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, Saturday, ordered Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the Certificate of Return issued to Senator Chris Ekpenyong. Ekpenyong of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was declared winner of the February 23, 2019 National Assembly Elections Petitions Tribunal in Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District, against Senator Godswill Akpabio of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
