President Muhammadu Buhari has been accused of using “Fulani herdsmen to wage silent genocidal jihad” on Christians in the country.
On a weekly basis, Fulani herdsmen armed with sophisticated but outlawed guns have been slaughtering people mostly farmers and poor rural dwellers in Benue, Kogi, Edo, Kwara, Kaduna and Adamawa States, among others.
Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, who made the allegation Thursday, noted that 120 innocent persons have been slaughtered by the herdsmen.
In a tweet via his social media handle, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chieftain noted that herdsmen “killed innocent souls” like “point-and-kill catfish.”
He wrote: “Buhari is using his Fulani herdsmen to wage a silent genocidal jihad.
