A 31-year-old man in Anambra State of Nigeria trapped in the web of child theft has been caught by vigilant policemen.
Chijioke Chukwulota, was said to have allegedly lured his ex-girlfriend to his home on August 8 and stole the set of twins- baby girls- aged two months.
He sold his twins born by his ex-girlfriend to one Tina Ibeato, 31, of Imo State at the rate of N150,000.
The police in Anambra State have arrested the man and the suspected buyer.
A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Haruna Mohammed, Chijioke said the police have recovered the children and they are in good condition.
Mohammed said investigation is ongoing into the matter and the suspects would be brought to book soon.
