    Commissioner stakes reward for best PDP membership registration ward

    The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) executive members in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom have been tasked to be serious with the ongoing continuous online Permanent Voters Card and party membership registration.

    Akwa Ibom Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Frank Archibong, who gave the advice in his country home, Ikot Ibiok in Eket, staked financial reward to any electoral ward in the area that will have the highest number of voters’ card registration.

    Archibong, who hosted a get-together party for the exco members, thanked Governor Udom Emmanuel for his care and support to the well being of the party and his industrialization drive in the state.

    While urging party faithful to fully participate in the exercise, he tasked party faithful to turn up massively for the Maintain Peace Movement ward tour coming up soon in the 14 wards in Eket.

    The commissioner also tasked the party faithful to support the Completion Agenda of Akwa Ibom Governor Udom Emmanuel by seeing it as an opportunity of a possible platform for a better future.

    Speaking at the event, Mr. Akpadiaha Ebitu, the State Legal Adviser of the party, stressed the importance of the PDP online registration which is ongoing across the country, state and local government areas, saying that it will serve as a proof of membership and for future party nominations and primaries.

    Obongiwaad Emmanuel Mbong, PDP Chapter Chairman Eket LGA in his remarks urged party members to remain as one indivisible family as PDP remains the biggest and strongest party in Africa.
