The Peoples Democratic Party National Legal Adviser, Emmanuel Enoidem, has attributed his survival in the clutches of ravaging COVID-19 that has claimed thousands in Nigeria to God’s factor.

Enoidem, a survivor of COVID-19, declared openly, “God’s real. I’m here because of God, not because of doctors, not drugs because I took a lot, but God intervened.”

The legal practitioner bared his mind when some youths across the political divide in Akwa Ibom paid him a solidarity visit in his country home in Shelter Afrique, Uyo on Friday.

Re-affirming absolute faith in God during the dark moment in his life, Enoidem told his audience, “I knew I had a covering. I can’t die young.”

He thanked God for His grace and mercy to him, and enjoined youths to draw lessons from his life which he likened to “resurrection,” adding ‘’It is better to know God personally and to reverence Him in all you do.’’

Reflecting on his travails and stressing the need for people to comply with COVID-19 protocols, the maverick politician charged people not to lower the guard as pandemic could be contracted anywhere as his was from home.

Enoidem urged his guests to shun alcohol and narcotics as these may overwhelm their immune system if they test positive to COVID-19.

For those who celebrated the ill-fated news, he said their celebration was short lived, as grace found him, positing “COVID-19 is a monster. I would not wish my enemy; it’s demonic.”

The Law teacher-turned politician, therefore, canvassed support for establishment of prayer cells for regular intercessions to the state and its leaders.

Moses Akpan, a legal practitioner likened Barr Emmanuel Enoidem to Biblical Dorcas who cheated death because of accumulated charity to orphans, widows and the poor.

Prince Umakiso Umoh advised the people to connect Enoidem’s survival to the destiny of those who believe in his political philosophy.

According to him, “You have conquered death. There is no more fear of it; you cannot die twice.”

Utibe Nwoko, another legal practitioner thanked God for sparing his life and enjoined youths to take seriously the responsibility of praying for elders for God will avert pestilence.

Earlier, Obongunwana Nnamso Don Idiong, the leader of the delegation, had thanked God for not disappointing His people concerning the life of Mr Enoidem, thus ending fears of unforeseen created among his followers and friends.

Meanwhile, Prince Uche Secondus, PDP National Chairman, said “Working with Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem for years now as my National Legal Adviser, I can can say that God preserved his life against all illness for a reason.”

Secondus stated this when he paid a solidarity visit to the PDP National Legal Adviser, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem in his Shelter Afrique country home, Uyo.

Accompanied by the National Organising Secretary, Col. Austine Akobondu, National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, National Financial Secretary and the National Woman Leader, he declared ”Trust me, Barr. Enoidem’s life is preserved for something very big and important.”
