Nigerian sprinter, Blessing Okagbare, has become Africa’s most attended athlete in Diamond League.
Okagbare who has overtaken Usain Bolt received Guinness World Record certificate.
She had participated in 67 Diamond League events from July 3, 2010, to August 31, 2018 while Bolt held the record in 2015.
Sharing a photo of her certificate to Instagram, Blessing wrote: “A dream made reality through God’s grace and determination.”
Born in 1988 in Sapele in Delta State, Blessing is a Nigerian track and field athlete who specialises in long jumping and short sprints.
She is an Olympic and World Championships medalist in the long jump, and a world medalist in the 200 metres.
