The Nigeria’s social media critic and public commentator has taken a swipe at President Muhammadu Buhari over what he described as lack of concern on the killing of a pastor and 50 Christians in Adamawa State by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
Femi Fani-Kayode, in his Twitter handle on Sunday wrote ‘’Fulani terrorists killed a Lutheran priest and 51 other Christians in Gon, Nzumosu, Bolki,Nyanga and Bukuto villages in Numan LGA,Adamawa state yesterday yet not a word from Buhari.
Fani-Kayode, a one-time Minister of Aviation lamented, ‘’All he is concerned about is a hurricane in America and the vote of no confidence he got from HSBC.’’
Recall that pastor of Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria and 51 persons were on Thursday night killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
The attackers, who targeted the villages of Gon, Nzumosu, Bolki, Nyanga, Bukuto in the Numan local government areas of the state, reportedly numbered over 200.
The attacks, which began in the evening, went on unimpeded as residents claimed the invaders allegedly planned and launched the attacks from Abbare, a neighbouring community in Taraba State.
The assailants were said to have burnt down three of the villages during the attack.
