Akwa Ibom State government has so far collected N34.5 billion from the Paris Club refunds.
A breakdown shows that the government got N14.5 billion in September 2015, another N10 billion in August and N10 billion being the final tranche of the refunds in December 2017.
Idris Ahmed, the accountant general of the federation, announced this over the weekend that the Federal Government has released another tranche of the Paris Club Refund, saying that government took the step so that Nigerians could enjoy the Christmas.
