A 20-year-old Nigerian girl, Favour Chisimdi Nwobodo made history by winning a global award for being fluent in 11 languages without travelling abroad.
The languages are Korean, Swahili, Shona, Indonesian, Filipino, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, English Language and Igbo.
Without leaving the shores of Nigeria, the language genius has spoken each of the languages.
According to multiple reports, the 20-year-old prodigy is currently perfecting the Yoruba language, which is one of the widely spoken languages in South-West Nigeria and some other regions of Africa.
The language prodigy is striving towards her childhood dream of becoming a medical doctor. A student of University of Nigeria, she is currently pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
“My struggle to becoming proficient in a language was met by many tears, uncertainties and concerns,” Favour said.
