In the latest FIFA’s ranking, five African teams have moved up the ladder with Morocco occupying the number one seed in the soccer outing.
    1.   Morocco – 11th Position
The Atlas lions are currently the best team in Africa according to the release and this is no surprise given their recent performance. They were excellent at the 2022 world cup and it is no doubt that they are currently the best team in Africa.

    2. Senegal – 19th Position
Despite moving one place downward, they are still the second best team in Africa thanks to their performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
    3.   Tunisia – 30th Position.
The Carthage Eagles maintain their initial position in the list thanks to playing at the 2022 FIFA world cup. By this list, they are currently the 30th best team in the world.
    4.  Cameroon – 33rd Position.
Alongside Morocco, they improved tremendously after their performance in the world cup. They moved from 43 to 33 in the table which is quite remarkable given they moved 10 places up.
    5.  Nigeria – 35th Position.
The super eagles’ failure to qualify for the 2022 world cup took a toll on their position but they still make the top 5 in Africa. They moved from 32 to 35 in the table which is a reflection of how poor the Eagles have been in recent times.
