Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles delivered a stellar performance on Saturday evening, defeating their Ghanaian counterparts 3-1 to secure qualification for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Uyo on Saturday night.
The Super Eagles B overcame Ghana’s Black Galaxies on a 3-1 aggregate after a goalless first-leg encounter in Accra last Sunday.
Playing at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, the Nigerian side sealed their victory in style, scoring all three goals in the first half.
The Home Eagles dominated the opening exchanges, scoring three goals within six minutes in the first half.

Remo Stars’ right-back, Sodiq Ismail, opened the scoring in the 18th minute.
Shortly after, team captain and fellow Remo Stars player, Nduka Junior, doubled the lead in the 21st minute.
Rangers winger, Saviour Isaac capitalized on a defensive mix-up to score the third goal in the 26th minute, giving Nigeria a commanding lead before halftime.
Substitute Amankona Stephen reduced the deficit for the visitors 18 minutes from time.
The Home Eagles will return to the competition after missing the last two editions.
