Luis Enrique, former Barcelona coach, has agreed to replace Conte at Chelsea.
The 47-year-old stepped down from Barca last summer and vowed to take a year off from football before returning to the game next term.
Enrique, who led Barcelona to their 5th Champions League title in 2015, has been tipped to replace troubled Antonio Conte at the Stamford Bridge this summer.
El Confidencial reports that Enrique has settled terms with Chelsea to succeed Antonio Conte at the end of this season.
They also suggested that Chelsea’s board has run out of patience with Conte after his constant sniping this season over transfer policy.
After working in Italy and Spain, Enrique has favoured a move to England – and recent reports coming from Spain suggest he will be the next manager of Chelsea.
NAIJ.com previously reported that Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has backed his former manager Luis Enrique to succeed as Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.
