Christmas, an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 by billions of Christians around the world, is here again. This fĂȘte is one that brings to mind God’s undying love for humanity.
The birth of Jesus was not only supernatural but was also the incarnation of God Himself. In other words, God became man and passed through the womb of virgin Mary for the sole purpose of saving man from his own sins. What a show of Agape love!
However, many wine and dine without reflecting the love, peace and salvation Christ Jesus bequeathed to the world.
As you pop those bottles and devour the sumptuous buffets, we urge you to show the same love to one another, especially the needy. This is a more effective way to mark the birth of Saviour of the world.
On this occasion and beyond, we pray your hearts and homes to be filled with joy the festive season brings and may this season end the present year on a cheerful note and make a way for a fresh and bright New Year.
Merry Christmas, our esteemed readers!
