The National Association of Labour Veterans (NALVET) would show strength by turning its Multipurpose Cooperative Society to a Micro Finance Bank, the Chairman announced Wednesday, 13 December.
Comrade Asuquo Akang, the NALVET Chairman stated this during the handing-over ceremony and inauguration of a 13-member State Working Council at Sir Udo Kierian Akpan’s Hall, Workers’ Solidarity Centre, Atan Offot, Uyo.
‘‘Our aim is to transform NALVET’s Multipurpose Cooperative Society to a micro finance bank. We therefore strongly solicit for a grant to the Cooperative Society, to enable us achieve this.
