Nollywood actress Nkiru Umeh has expressed worry over cross dressing becoming a new pandemic in Nigeria.
In recent times, cross dressers in Nigeria have been in a battle of supremacy on social media.
Cross-dressing is the act of wearing items of clothing not commonly associated with one’s s3x. Cross-dressing has been used for purposes of disguise, comfort, and self-expression in modern times and throughout history.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, Nkiru asked if Nigerians should be worried about this trend.
According to her, ”Cross dressing/battle of supremacy among cross dressers… Is this another pandemic? Should we be worried?’’
So far, popular cross dressers in Nigeria include Bobrisky, James Brown, Bryan Nwakoro, Jay Boogie and Jay Buggati Iche.
Others are Pleasure Suarez, Booga Barbie, Remy Lekun, Onyx Godwin, JP Blush, and Josh Agai.
