The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has called for prayers over the abduction of five pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

This is as the Ogun State police command has released names of the five abducted pastors of RCCG.

Adeboye while preaching at the ongoing ministers’ conference holding at the Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, called on members of the church to pray for their release.

“As a father, how do you think I should feel to hear that five of my children have been kidnapped while on their way to attend the Ministers Conference?” he queried.

Adeboye, while charging the congregation to pray for the release of the abductees, said the abduction took place on Thursday along the Ijebu-Ode axis.

Speaking with journalists on Friday in Abeokuta, the police spokesman in Ogun, Abimbola Oyeyemi, mentioned names of the RCCG pastors.

Oyeyemi identified the victims as Chidioze Eluwa, Chiemela Iroha, Okoro Ohowukwe, Ndubuizi Owuabueze and Ibeleji Chidinma (female).

Meanwhile, the police had earlier stated that it has geographically located the forest where the victims were kept by their abductors.
