Amid divorce saga, singer Paul Okoye ‘Rude Boy’ was electrified in emotional hug when he met his wife and kids after school in United States of America.
After 17 years together and seven years of marriage, entrepreneur Anita Okoye filed for divorce from her husband, Paul Okoye of defunct P-Square music fame.
The music star shared a video of him in an emotional hug with his three children on Instagram, with love and kiss emojis, also tagging his wife to the post.
Some social media platforms had reported on Friday, August 20 that his marriage to Anita is facing crisis.
Recall that in March 2021, Anita moved out of the couple’s home with their three children – Andre, Nadia, and Nathan and relocated to US.
Later, in a court document published by Pulseng, Anita requested for the dissolution of her marriage for five reasons ranging from lack of mutual conjugal relationship to lack of communication and irreconcilable differences.
According to Anita’s lawyers, she no longer enjoys a mutual conjugal relationship as a wife to her celebrity husband.
The sultry entrepreneur stressed that Paul denied her any form of companionship and love which are the integral components of all successful marriages.
Anita further revealed that she and her husband no longer have communication as a couple, stating that the marriage has broken down irretrievably because of lack of love and compatibility.
The mother of three also cited an extreme indifference from the ‘Reason with me’ singer towards her feelings. She noted that their relationship went cold and all attempts to savour what was left of it, was met with stiff resistance from the singer, who spots a dreadlock.
Anita, who also said Paul ceased all forms of communication with her before she moved out of the house, expressed lack of spousal support.
The fashion entrepreneur said that the music star neglected his responsibility as a husband and father by refusing to support and cater to her and her family members.
Rounding it off, Anita cited irreconcilable differences. The music star’s university sweetheart said she wants out of their marriage over irreconcilable differences.
Anita’s lawyers advised Rudeboy to challenge the claims and his estranged wife’s petition if he feels disgruntled.
