With the exit of Lionel Messi for the first time in 12 years, FIFA’s The Best Men’s Player of the Year award is up for grabs by three outstanding football players who displayed their sparkling skills in 2017-18 campaigns.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and Mohamed Salah have made the final three for the coveted award.
Ronaldo and Modric both helped Real Madrid to Champions League glory prior to the former’s move to Juventus, with Salah scoring an incredible 44 goals in all competitions for Liverpool FC.
The date for the award is not yet fixed.
