Uyo camp of the Super Eagles is expected to record a full house today as more Europe based invited players would arrive early morning to join the team in its first full training today, ahead of the Saturday’s Russia 2018 world cup qualifying match against Zambia.

Checks at the teams’ camp reveal that about six players arrived Abuja Wednesday and were part of the team that departed for Uyo. Hapoel Beer Sheva duo, Anthony Nwakaeme and John Ogu, goalkeepers Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Dele Ajiboye, Monaco loanee, Elderson Echiejile, and Portugal-based Oghenekaro Etebo were among the players that arrived at the Le Meridien Ibom Hotel camp of the team yesterday.

It was also confirmed that Mainz 05 defender, Leon Balogun, Odion Ighalo, William Troost-Ekong and Mikel Agu, who had already hit Abuja were expected as at yesterday evening, while Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho and the others are expected to join the team on Tuesday, before their first full training session.

Meanwhile, the Zambia squad has commenced full training at the Marcel Desailly Sports Complex in Accra, Ghana, on Monday, with two foreign-based professionals, Orlando Pirates’ Justin Shonga and Ajax Cape Town’s Roderick Kabwe, attending the workout, according to the Football Association of Zambia.
