Two countries – Uruguay and Italy- will go for FIFA U20 World Cup crown as they lock horns in the final match at Tolosa, La Plata, Argentina on Sunday at 9 p.m.
Uruguay heads into this match with the best defensive record finishing second in their group after losing their match against England. The South American team conceded three goals in that match. They have not conceded a goal in the other five matches. Uruguay has won five matches and scored 11 goals in total.
Italy lost their match to Nigeria in the group stage. They have won every other match and scored 13 goals. The Italian defence has been a bit leaky and conceded seven in total. Italy relies a lot on their young midfielder, Cesare Casadei. The youngster has scored eight and created two goals.
The South American nation plays its third final of the FIFA U20 World Cup. Uruguay has lost both finals, with the latest defeat coming in 2013.
Italy, on the other hand, reaches the final for the first time. They will have their best finish in the U20 World Cup, no matter what the result will be at the end of the final whistle.
